Last Few Days in Michigan

Our last few days in Michigan were spent with Tricia and her kids. We had both gone to Utah for several weeks, so we hadn't got to spend very much time together over the summer. We made sure before we left we got in a last few activities. First both families met up in Milford, which was only about 15 minutes where we both live. They have a darling downtown area. We hit a delicious hamburger joint and then walked along the carnival and sidewalk sales that were going on that weekend. They also had huge bouncy toys for the kids to jump in. Ainsley had a blast hanging out with her cousins.

Then before we left Michigan for the last time, we had to finally make it to the lake with the Winders! We had been talking about going to Independence Lake since going together last summer! We finally made it and we stayed all day. Ainsley had a blast digging in the sand and transferring water from the lake to her buckets onshore. She swam a little, but didn't have the confidance to keep up with Sydney and Owen this year. It was so fun and we had a blast. We miss our Winder cousins in Michigan so much! Wish we could hang out with them here too!
We hit the park and our favorite restaurants one last time before packing, cleaning, and heading out. We loved Michigan and really hope to move back there. It was beautiful, everyone was so friendly, and we had a great experience this past year! Never would have thought I'd live there before, but now I'm glad I did.
