On Easter Sunday, the Easter bunny arrived and brought Ainsley and Sam some baskets of treats and gifts. Ainsley got the Tangled movie, sidewalk chalk, a Princess bingo game, and candy. From her friend Brady she got a Sing-a-ma-jig bunny that sings Peter Cottontail. Grandma Reese sent a Princess coloring book and markers. Sam got formula, a formula caddy for the diaper bag, and two Beatrix Potter books. He also got a toy train from Grandma Reese. After looking at their Easter baskets, Ainsley had one last easter egg hunt around the house. Then we got dressed for church. Ainsley was so excited to wear her new red Easter dress from Grandma Butler. We had a wonderful church meeting where we were reminded about the true meaning of Easter. After church we went outside and took a few family photos. We were able to skype with both families that night. It was a great Easter!

Happy Easter!
We had a wonderful Easter holiday. On Friday the 22, we were invited to join a few friends from our ward in a picnic and Easter egg hunt for the kids. Unfortunately it rained that morning, so it had to be moved inside the house. But the kids enjoyed having a picnic on the floor in the basement and then hunting for Easter eggs around the house. Ainsley came home with tons of candy and small toys. She had a blast playing with her little friends! It is so fun to watch and listen to her interact with friends her own age, she has become so independent and she'll say the funniest things. She is so grown up!

The next day, we were invited to another Easter egg hunt and lunch at Tom's cousins house. We are so lucky to have Scott and Tricia living about a half hour away to celebrate holidays with. Ainsley and I try to go over there every couple of weeks to hang out. She loves it and I love spending time with Tricia. Tricia's cousin also lives in Ann Arbor and so she and her family were there as well. Ainsley and her cousins had a blast finding eggs around the yard and by the time they were done, all of their baskets were overflowing with eggs.
