Shortly after we got back from Germany, my sister Cami came to visit. We were so excited to have her come. As always she spoiled them with gifts and clothes. We had fun showing her around again. She had come to Michigan with my mom when we lived here before. One night we headed downtown to watch the Tigers play the Yankees which the Tigers won.
While Cami was here, we decided to take her to Lake Michigan. Cami has never seen a great lake before and so we thought she should. It took about 3 hours to drive there, but we had fun talking and visiting on the way. We went to Grand Haven state park. It has two beautiful red lighthouses and a pier. It was so warm and gorgeous that day. We had a blast. The water was warm. The kids had a lot of fun, Ainsley was even brave enough and swam around in water (wearing her life jacket) by herself. We built sandcastles and buried Ainsley in the sand. We had a blast.
