Happy Easter!

We celebrated Easter a little early at out house. We fibbed and told Ainsley it was Easter two weeks before the real thing due to our trip to London over Easter break and the previous Sunday would be Sam's birthday. She had no idea, and had a great time. We didn't bring Easter baskets to Germany, so we used the only two baskets we could find in the apartment, both were more decorative baskets rather than functional. The Easter bunny found us anyway and brought us lots of candy! We are a big fan of Kinder eggs here, and so he brought us lots of them in various sizes and flavors. Ainsley and Sam both got a giant Kinder egg with a toy inside. Ainsley's came with a toy airplane and Sam's came with a card game. She also got three Princess Kinder eggs that came with rings and bracelets inside as well as a chocolate bunny, small gift, mentos and suckers. The kids peeked at their Easter baskets and then we headed off to church. It was Ward Conference that day and there was a brunch afterwards so it was several hours before we made it home. We were a little worried that the chocolate eggs hidden around the house and outside would all be melted by the time we got home because it was such a warm weekend. But they weren't and Ainsley and Sam had a fun time hunting for chocolate.

Sam's first real taste of chocolate...a Kinder egg! He loved it. It got all over him...and Daddy too!

When did Ainsley get so BIG!! That picture of her with the purse on, I can't believe how old she looks. And I like the first picture of Sam grabbing his bunny. He seems confused.
