We had four straight days of Halloween festivities. We started off on Wednesday with trick-or-treating on IU campus. There are 26 fraternities and 22 sororities on campus that host a "Safe Trick-or-Treating Night" for kids. The college kids paired up in front of the huge fraternity houses to hand out candy to kids. There was music, games, crafts, and prizes at each house. I took Ainsley with my friends Chris and Lesly and their kids. It was awesome and Ainsley got lots of candy. Ainsley dressed up as a Japanese Geisha. When Tom went to Japan last March, He bought Ainsley a little kimono, she looked really cute in it.

On Friday, our ward had a halloween party. Tom made chili for the Chili Cookoff. It was delicious! It was pouring that night so the trunk-or-treat was moved to the hall way. I helped pass out candy while Tom took Ainsley around. My camera battery died, so no pictures from that night. After the party, we came home and carved our pumpkin. Ainsley was obsessed with the pumpkin on the porch. Every time we would go outside our house, she would pat, hug, pick up the pumpkin. It would be hard to get her to come in the house some days because she wanted to hang outside with her pumpkin.

After the trick-or-treating, we finally got around to carving our pumpkin

Ainsley enjoyed her halloween candy

She also chewed on some pumpkin while daddy worked

The finished product...we have school spirit:)

On Halloween, we went to the Kelley Kids Halloween party at Tom's school. Tom made chili and I made homemade sugar cookies. We had a blast visiting with friends, making crafts, and eating lots of candy. After the party, we only took Ainsley trick-or-treating to one house to see her friends in their costumes. But after all the festivities, she had plenty of candy. Trust me!
