Phrases:
He loves to ask people, "I got to give you a question." Then he holds his hands like a little book. Then says, "What do you want for your birthday?" Then proceeds to tell the person what they are going to get for their birthday it is usually something like "Barbies!" or "Hot Wheels"
While eating fondue, he couldn't get the bread on his fondue fork and exclaimed, "I can't win, guys"
"What you doing guys?"
"What you doing, Mom?" (asks this at least 100x a day:)
When I wash his beloved Jake socks, "You dryed my Jake socks? Thanks, Mom!"

While Tom was in Vegas, he told everyone, "Dad on an airplane to Nutah." (Utah)
Anytime we go somewhere or meet someone new, Sam tells them, "I got Bucky for Christmas"
After changing his messy diaper at Costco, Sam got down and started hopping around singing the song from Doc McStuffins, "I feel better, so much better now."
While we were eating dinner as a family, Sam who decided he was done but was still sitting in his booster said to us, with his crooked mouth face, "What you doing, guys....eating?"
As we were leaving Costco, we passed a woman who was speaking another language to her young son. Sam looked at her, then looked at me and asked, "What she sayin?"
We were asked to babysit our neighbor's fish while they went out of town. As he peered into the fish bowls, he asked, "Hi fishies, what's your name?" Then when he got no response, he said, "The fishies aren't talking to me." We wanted to take a picture of Sam and Ainsley with the fish, as we were about to take the picture he said, "Say Cheese Fishies."
Sam is very polite and always says thank you when we do something for him. It is so sweet. When I put on his shirt, he'll exclaim excitedly, "Thanks Mom!"

Favorite Lunch: Grilled Cheese or Peanut Butter sandwiches
Favorite toy: Bucky (Jake the the Neverland Pirate's ship), Hot Wheel cars, Lego Duplos
Favorite Bedtime songs: Five Little Ducks, 3 Little Monkeys Swinging in the Trees, 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. He will sing along with me and do the actions.
When he gets in trouble or told No for doing something wrong, he runs the opposite way
He finally loves Nursery. He will run right in there and is disappointed when he doesn't get to go. This is a huge relief because he struggled for so long. He sings the songs to himself while he lays in bed. It is fun to hear him sing songs that I know I haven't sung to him before.
He's obsessed with birthdays right now. We've been to several of his friend's birthday parties and he's getting excited for his own birthday. When asked when his birthday is, he answers, "April 1" and is constantly telling us what he wants for his birthday. After he picked out a red Monster Truck for his friend Brady's birthday, he came home and informed all of us that he was getting a blue monster truck for his birthday. He has also told us he's getting a "Jake Teddy" (plush Jake doll).
Sam loves to help me vacuum the kitchen. He says, "Oh no, more messies mom. I clean it."
For his 3rd birthday, Sam wanted a "Jake and the Neverland Pirate" party. We bought "Jake" plates, cups, and napkins. We made a blue cake and put his plastic Jake figures on top. He was spoiled for his birthday. He got a scooter and some clothes from his Butler grandparents; Jake figures and a Pirate shirt from his Aunt Cami; Hot Wheels case, clothes, and Lego board from his Reese grandparents. Ainsley gave him a plush "Jake Teddy" that he wanted. Tom and I gave him
